My kids' dad has pretty much dropped out of their lives and it's really affecting my oldest daughter. Help?

Ok shes a little girl who needs a strong male figure in her life, and it sucks for her that her father can't be that person. Do you have any brothers, relatives or close friends that might be willing to volunteer some time with her, for a few hours 2-3 times a week? I think that will help her out a lot if she has a strong male figure in her life to do daddy/daughter things with her; take her fishing, get an ice cream, help her with homework, play with her, someone she can come to for advice. Let me put it to u this way if she doesnt get a strong male role model soon in another 4-5 years she will find it other ways such as dating older guys, or turning to drugs/alchol. Intervene now while shes a little girl and you can change her life. Hope this helps.
