Is it just me or is almost every one in the world obsessed with hurting others?

is it just me or is almost every one in the world obsessed with hurting others? or something like money,or whatever it is that they love more than other people. im not saying that we all need to be super huggy-huggy kissy-kissy but i cant stand asking a question on youtube and being told that my mom needs to get ANOTHER job. she has 4 already she doesnt have time for a nother one.
