I don't get it who are these people in power?

Every single person I talk to in all walks of life and different demographics, thinks the H&S & Political Correctness nowadays is the biggest load of rubbish going. Therefore what I ask who are the people in power driving these two seemingly things to a level most think is beyond a joke???
