Why are many Christians not any better or different acting than non-Christians yet claim to be more holy?

The real kicker is that prison populations are more religious types than atheist, by percentage. Real-world definite atheists (not just non-religious) sit at around a 7% in the US population. In US prisons, they're 0.2%.
