Do you think it is ok for AGW activists to pressure the media to change stories related to Global Warming?

That doesn't look like "pressuring" to me. That looks like explaining an error (and yes, it is an error to claim there has been no warming since 1998 - see links below), and the jouranlist agreeing to correct the error. I don't see the big deal.
