Need help with Marshall AVT 150H settings?

Hi. I have a Fender American Standard HSS Strat with Tex-Mex pickups and a Marshall AVT 150H. I need help getting the settings right for my amp. There are so many knobs and whatever I do I seem to get a really empty staticky sound. There are four channels I have: Acoustic Simulator (which sounds awesome), Clean, OD1, and OD2. The Acc. Simulator has a on to add body, the clean has a on to make it bright, and the OD1 and OD2 channels have scoop ons. I then have the treble, b, and middle knobs (2 sets, 1 for OD1/OD2 and another for Acc. Sim./Clean). I also have a master and presence knob. For every channel, I have a separate volume knob. One thing I'm wondering is whether it is better to use the separate volume knobs or the master volume knob to make the sound louder or if it matters at all. All the channels have their own gain knobs, except for Acc. Sim. which has a "Top" knob. I then have a built-in FX Loop with 16 effects covering halls, rooms, plates, gated reverb, chorus, flange, delay, chorus+room, chorus+delay+room, and modulation. There are 8 knobs here allowing me to change the effects. All in all, my amp has 24 knobs and 8 ons and I'm a bit overwhelmed. I read good reviews about my amp, so yeah. It's a Valve State AUT 2000 (solid state) amp. I want a strong punk-rock sound that will sound as good with power chords as it will with lead. For any clean/acoustic playing, the acoustic simulator is actually amazing and sounds AWESOME. I just need a good rock sound for recording!! Please help!

Seem to have suddenly lost feelings for my girlfriend?

My girlfriend is also my best friend. We are best buds as well and we talk about about everything together. Lately, my girlfriend has become more depressed due to an aculation of work and family stress. She has put on weight which has detracted from her physical attractiveness. I am 17 and am doing the hardest job that i have ever done. Every week a hay farmer has me help unload 300 bales a day. You aren't supposed to put any kind of lubrication on your tampon! That is not sanitary and can lead to infection. Are you using the small ones? They make light, regular, and super tampons for all different flows and sizes. Make sure you use the "light" ones - they are really small and should go in easily. If they aren't going in,then you shouldn't be using tampons because you may not be wet enough or relaxed enough. If your muscles are too tense this might make it difficult as well. Also, this may sound dumb - but make sure you are inserting it in the right hole. Your is kind of tilted so make sure you are tilting the tampon to get it in also. To remove the tampon you just pull gently on the string to get it out - if you are wet enough, it shouldn't hurt to do this. good luck.

Minivan rattles at 65mph in rear... what might be causing this?

Anyhow, I've noticed that lately the minivan shakes, rattles, and rolls towards the rear of the van at speeds over 65mph. Many people have suggested that the Sienna rattles due to poor suspension in the back. 1 & 3 could be observations or either could be hypothesis - it depends on the way they were arrived at. If it was an observation or test or race, then clearly its an observation. If it was based on indirect evidence, say the time clock sometime after the race read 9.8 seconds, rather than you observing the race and confirming that the clock worked right and it was the 100 yard and not the 75 or whatever then its a hypothesis. I'm not sure if 2 is a theory. I'd say it is because there is a substantial body of evidence which supports it, but there is also a fair amount that is inconsistent with it - so depending who you talk to its either a moderately supported theory or a strong hypothesis. In common useage, it would be called a theory.

Ok shes a little girl who needs a strong male figure in her life, and it sucks for her that her father can't be that person. Do you have any brothers, relatives or close friends that might be willing to volunteer some time with her, for a few hours 2-3 times a week? I think that will help her out a lot if she has a strong male figure in her life to do daddy/daughter things with her; take her fishing, get an ice cream, help her with homework, play with her, someone she can come to for advice. I had a tooth fracture that was fine until recently when I was eating some fudge and it started to hurt extremely bad. Next thing you know, it's constantly hurting so I told my parents who said that I can't see the dentist until 2-3 weeks. hun, you need to go to the doctor I was your age once and did what you are doing now and I regret everyday because I thought I had a sprain but really was severly torn ligaments and tendons plus a fracture which is a broken bone. Shady dealings of a friend?

My friend (28) runs a non-profit company in addition to going to dental school... so she has to do a lot of fundraising to do since there are no other sources of money. The company has 20 people in it and it is community service based. She found a fundraiser where you fill out credit card forms and you get $5 for every one completely filled out. She gave 10 to all 20 people in her group (200 total) and about 15 came back with no SS #...so she made them up using the color ink they used and tried to mimic their handwriting. I caught her in the act when I came home from work. The ones that weren't signed, she signed for them as well. Could she get in trouble for this? She is my friend. I don't want her to get in trouble but she was already given all the cash. Please help!

I have eye issues temparary blindness.?

about ten years ago. I was in a pool when i opened my eyes. The only thing i could see was a black ring going to gray. Kinda like tunnel vision. well it didnt happen again till last november. All a sudden my breathing got bad. So i went to the doc. I was told i have diabetes. plus my liver and thiroid was failing. Blood pressure and cholesterol was extremly high. well i started getting eye issues. just the lower half of my vision was distorted. I went to an eye specalist for people with diabetes. he did every test and found nothing. well i lost 70 pounds since then. I exercise regularly. there are no signs of diabetes effects no more. Although i still have it. but some days my eyes get blurry on the bottom half only. and the bouts of blindness are more frequent. But yet all my other problems are in check. well since i went to the eye doc. And he is special for diabetes. He had to of checked for gloucoma and nerve pressure. seeing that is diabetes norm. Well my vision was blurry when he looked directly in my eyes. but yet nothing. I've talked to my doc and he keeps saying i need gles. yet wouldnt all my vision be screwed not just the bottom. he gave me two eye exams and it was 20/25. has anyone have an idea what this is. Blood pressure question,help please?

My husband is 65 and in pretty good health. His blood pressure has been okay but occasionally was 130/90. Last week his pressure spiked to 210/150 and we went to the hospital. They addmited him and brought the pressure down. They did a cardiac cat scan, ultras sound of the heart, several ekg and blood tests. He was discharged and put on 25mg of metratroporal. The next day he went to his regular doctor and he put him on 50 mg. and did a kidney test. His blood pressure was fine for a few days and is now l40/95. He called the doctor and he said to take more medication. Does it take a while to regulate blood pressure? We are at a loss as to what is going on. This is our first experience with hypertension. Do you think all of the tests which came out fine, are enough? Are we missing any? Also, his stomach is upset today, does the medication do this? Should he have had a cat scan of the brain? Explanation of salvia trip?

So yesterday i tried salvia for the first time. It was 30x and we were smoking out of a bong in my friends car. it was such an experience that I just want to share it. If anything has happend to anyone similarly as what happend to me, it would be cool if you could respond. And I do believe it was an enjoyable experience. So first ofcourse I light the bowl, and as soon as i hit it, I can feel a head change. I hold it in for about 20 seconds, and when I exhale is when **** goes insane. first when i exhale, there was still some smoke coming out, and I saw the smoke coming out, but it was going out in two different direction, kind of like what it looks like when a bull blows out air in a cartoon. After that I was still in reality, I knew what was going on, but then all of a sudden, it was like I was leaning to far back in my chair and i just slammed backwards very quckly and very heavily. What I remember next is that I was in some other "dimension", totally gone, disconnected with reality. Where I was, it was yellow everywhere. There was a woman. I dont remember exactly anything that she said, but it was as if she was guiding me through my trip. I was in a place I had never even thought of before, but it seemed right, It seemed like I had been there all my life, and that it was familiar. After this which was totally out of reality, i start slowly coming back. but not really because im still tripping . the only thing that came back were my five friends that were with me in the car. I could see them, but it wasnt really them. It was as if the had red pinstripes going down their faces. And I didnt see the car, what I saw was like a tropical island. In front of us, what would have been a road, was a blue ocean. around us were palm trees. it all looked very cartoonish. the scariest part of thie trip wwas that it seemed that everything was just a joke on me. Im 37 with two children, and have had bleeding problems for several years, finally Keiser gave me a biopsy and called me today to tell me I have cancer and must have a full Hysterectomy right away! My head is still spinning, even though its like I knew it deep down that it was going to be bad even before I saw the Dr. I see the head of O.B. on thursday, so I will have a long couple of days until I know when my surgery is and if I will have to have radiation and chemo, she said the cells look to be pretty early stages, but I have a LOT of pain especially after the biopsy, and I have been to the Dr, several times in the last year with swollen lymph nodes in the back of my head and neck, they never figured that out either and chalked it up to a possible virus and gave me antibiotics. My last pap before this weeks was 3 years ago, Keiser has decided that they are not necissary every year unless youve already had problems, I even asked for one a year ago and was told,"no its not time" I dont have much family on my side, and a wonderful family on my husbands, we just lost his 25 year old sister to gastric cancer less than a year ago, and his cousin was just diagnosed with the same cancer stage 4 with no hope. They told me they wont know the exact extent of my cancer until they get in there and see it for sure. I was there when my sister in law died, it was unimmagenible that if there is a God that he would let such a wonderful young woman suffer so, and not just call her home to heaven swiftly. I can only explain it as she had to walk all the way through hell to get to heaven. My actual question is (for those who have been through it please) should I allow the O.B. Dr. to opperate on me, or should I ask for a cancer surgen? My husbands family is urging me to demand a cancer specialist, I know its a good idea, and in my sister in law and husbands cousins case, they would have been put through a lot less aggony if they just had started with the cancer surgeon.

I have a problem with power loss now and then on my mondeo turbo diesel, like the turbo cuts out then in again

twice recently it has drove for a short distance like just diesel,no turbo,, on its usual day it drives ok but the turbo actually jerks on and off at around 3000 rpm...it revs past this and goes ok, on the motorway i can actually find a place on the revs(say 4th gear at 65mph)were the car car feels like you are pulling the handbrake on and off, like the turbo is in and out constantly, it revs past this no problem..today the turbo went out completely for about 2miles...it never smokes, not even when this happens,,,ive been told that turbos are not realy complicated and if they go, it is usually seals and you know instantly...its been suggested, air flow meter,,,a flange split,,,diesel filters,,etc.. but im realy skint and could do with a pinpoint answer(a lot to ask i know)...ive thought about changing the full manifold with turbo, full air filter etc, oil cooler the lot, local scrapman offered me all this at �60, cheap but a big enough job when it could be a simple task,,please help..

Lethargic, tired, and low drive. Any ideas?

I'm not 100% sure why but in the past year or so I've been losing my drive and I've been feeling really lethargic. I may not actually have but I still enjoy a nightly masturbation to help me go to sleep, but for some reason I just don't have the same stuff as I did a few years back. Pive vs Active Speakers and some good recommendations for a mobile DJ.?

I am looking for a pro audio setup that doesn't cost a fortune. I am very unfamiliar with it all, but I have read that having a sub woofer improves the sound greatly. I am looking at Mackie TH12A active speakers, but then I would have to look at a sub woofer that is powered itself? I have also heard that you can go pive speakers and then a powered sub woofer and it will power both the woofer and the sat speakers? I think i would rather have active than have to buy a amp to power everything. So my question is what are some good setups that are not very costly but also are not crap, and some help on explaining the whole deal with active speakers and subs vs pive. Help with acne treatment?

I cured my acne in high school by taking 2 tablespoons of Coarse Milled Metamucil a day with 12 oz. of Dasani water. Then I would peel and slice up some cubers and soak them in a solution of 1 part apple cider vinegar, 2 parts granulated sugar and 4 parts Dasani water, then eat them. Dasani water because it contains MgSO2 and our systems don't get enough Mg because we don't eat enough green vegetables. It doesn't do anything but help to eat cole slaw or cabbage also. If you eat some shredded wheat cereal for breakfast this will help also. Lay off the cheese unless you eat some vegetation with it also. Raisins can make you constipated if eaten alone but good for you if you eat with other foods. If you break out today, think about what you ate 3 days ago this is what is causing your pimples today. Never eat potato chips! B1 is only good if in the thiamine hydrochloride form - check the bottle. B1 will give you extra energy and smarts if needed. C is only good if rose hips are included. E will cause pimples.

From all the people I've talked to i would put a tight bore barrel in it for more power and accuracy. I really cant help much with this one , but I can tell you the only dream I ever had where I actually woke up choking a family member had gone into the hospital the next day with lung problems that were quite serious. American Saddlebreds? Disposition?

So basically, i will probably be buying an American Saddlebred as my first horse in a couple of years when im 16. I am totally mesmerized by them. Their long legs, graceful necks, and majesties heads are (in my opinion) so beautiful. I also find the sports of saddleseat and country english pleasure totally spectacular as well. Unfortunately, in terms of an ASB disposition, i have heard they are all very hot, spooky, and hard to control. I am an intermediate rider with a very good instructor, but i would also want a horse that my sister and mom could feel comfortable riding. From your experience, i wondering if you could tell me about ASB disposition.
