Are Pulse Oximeters still used today or they are now obsolete?

The small pulse oximeters that make the "beep" sound that they used to use in the ICU, are they still in use today or are they pretty much obsolete. Cause in most ICUs they do not have them anymore they just have the multiparameter patietns montrs but not a separat SpO2-pulse monitors
